Western Marwari BLUP by Loxy_

Starting at 1.8 years of age:

Long Gallop Rides

Groom

1.30hrs gallop ride

Turnip

Feed

5hr gallop rides (Sometimes you can get 5.30hrs if you can, go for it)

Stroke

Drink

Carrot

Bed(I always but my horses to bed in the box, just because I do. But you may
use the meadow given it has a blanket or conditions are good enough i.e.
Temperature.)

Do this until you get no more gain from LONG gallop rides.

Next we are going to want to start training, by training I mean your training
bars NOT rides.

Next-Stamina Training

Groom

2hrs stamina

Turnip

Feed

6.30hrs stamina training

Stroke

Drink

Carrot

Bed

To save time I normally switch to my next skill when my bar looks to be about
90% done. I will start my next bar with 2hrs of the skill I was training and
the remainder used towards my new skill. That way I am not over training and
wasting time. So say I was almost done with stamina (about 90% done) but I
didn’t want to over-train and I wanted to start on my new skill as well, which
is Gallop it would go something like this:

Groom

2hrs Stamina training

Turnip

Feed

7.30hrs Gallop Training

Stroke

Drink

Carrot

Bed

Then when stamina was done I would just train in gallop.

Next: Gallop Training

Groom

2hrs Gallop training

Turnip

Feed

7.30hrs Gallop Training

Stroke

Drink

Carrot

Bed

Next: Dressage Training

Groom

2hr Dressage Training

Turnip

Feed

10hrs Dressage training

Stroke

Drink

Bed

(Note; I am NOT giving a carrot. If I do my horse will go to bed late, after
22:00, and wake up with low morale and possibly low health.)

Next: Barrel Competitions

(Enter your first set of Comps Without your “bumper”.)

Groom

For the next second set of comps onwards it is a good idea to enter with your
bumper. This will help you to more easily get your wins. Continue to enter
barrel races until you no longer get any skill gain.

Next: Speed Training

Groom

2hr Speed Training

Turnip

Feed

6.30Hrs Speed training

Stroke

Drink

Carrot

Bed

Now we have our top three skills trained but don’t go for your rides to finish
them just yet. After Speed Training I always enter Western Pleasure comps (WP),
so that way I know I will be getting all of my wins.

Next: WP comps

(Note: Enter comps that cost -10.8% energy)

Groom

(Again notice, I am NOT giving a carrot. Again this will cause my horse to go
to bed late. Which we do not want)

Now DON’T keep going until you get full skill gain from WP comps. You are just
entering for a few more wins, not the skill gain. Stop entering them at
7.8years don’t go any higher than that else you will not be able to finish your
horse at 10 years.

Next: Short Trot Rides

Groom

1hr trot ride

Turnip

Feed

1hr trot ride

1hr trot ride

Stroke

Drink
